post on the movie Dodgeball:
Why is Hollywood afraid of putting Shatner and Hasselhoff in the same frame? Is it because they know Hasselhoff and Shatner would be so powerful together that they would make every other onscreen duo look like total strangers?

comment to the above post:
The hoff is the madest filim star ever and to have him star alongside the shat man....well i almost shat myself!!!

One of the most entertaining actors of all-time, William Shatner's bawdy(!) screen presence, intensity, charisma and unique speaking cadance have made him an iconic figure

A 1993 study found that kids in the US learn more about science from Star Trek than from any other source.

disclaimer: "Star Trek" and the character of "Captain Kirk" are registered Trade Marks of "Paramount" and J Trusk lays no claim to any affiliation with this organization or with the "Tonight Show", "Jay Leno", or "William Shatner" but if the Federation were to exist for real he would definately be the "REAL THING."

also of note:
William Shatner suffers from a very loud ring in his left ear due to an accident while filming an episode of the television show, Star Trek. Luckily for him, he found a treatment that involves wearing an ear piece that pumps white noise into his affected ear to drown out the ringing.

It is the stuff of legend among Star Trek fans that actor William Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk, found his appearence to be somewhat changable as the shooting season went on.
In the begining of each season, Shatner, after a break during which he took every opportunity to work out, would be in tip-top physical condition, and ready to take on the galaxy.
As the season wore on, the shooting schedule would take its toll on Shatner's time, and he'd begin to gain weight. By mid-season, this could become noticable, and Shatner's equator would become a cause for concern amongst the producers.
The usual solution would be to take a few on-the-set still photos that emphasized Shatner's mid-section, and leave them in his dressing room. Shatner would see those pictures, and redouble his efforts to stay in shape. By season's end he would once again be the svelte Captain who made green galactic women swoon.
