fractastic!

http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/~pbourke/fractals/ is one of the sites i got these fractals from, and it has lots of super cool FRACTAL MATH! SCORE!

the real website of the day is www.allrecipes.com which is a very extensive site of (what else?) recipes that have comments and ratings from the public so you know how everything will come out. a word of warning - some people rate things high (or low) just 'cause they like/dislike the ingredients and they haven't actually made the recipe. it's best to read the comments to get the real scoop. it's also important to note the majority of people are bad cooks with low standards (millions of people love spam and eat it frequently). there are many good recipes here, but lots of crappy ones too. use your judgement!

so, news wise, my friend greg from edmonton has recently accepted a cytology job in victoria (the one in BC not the one on the way to carbonear). Congratulations to Greg!
